Jane Eyre

A powerful story with macabre undertones, the novel traces the life of Jane Eyre from when she is ten, into her mid twenties. An orphan, Jane struggles to overcome loneliness, fear, and hopes to gain a better understanding of the person she is becoming. Her dark love affair with Mr. Rochester amplifies the mystery of the work significantly –making Jane Eyre an all around excellent read.
