Brave New World
by Aldous Huxley

Opening in London in AD 2540, Brave New World, tells of a global society in which most things natural have been done away with. Children are created in test tubes, and people are “conditioned” into being mass consumers who are dependent on hallucinogens in order to stay happy. This tremendously moving work challenges many aspects of human morality, human development, and the advancement of the state on an unheard of level. Huxley’s social commentary is vast, deep, and very much eye opening.
